Reflection

Two quarters have passed and in those two quarters I've already learned lot of things.

In our 1:00 P.M. class I always feel excited to go to that class because will stay again in an air-conditioned room. I learned a lot of things about blogging but sometimes I can encounter problems, and this problems can sometimes makes me feel like “giving up”. But as time passed by I just set aside those problems and do the best I can. And therefore I can say that if you have problems don’t give up easily because there is God who is always on our side.

Intramurals

Intramurals are recreational sports organized within a particular institution, usually an educational institution.

This kind of event doesn’t only allow student to play sports but to have fun also. This years’ Intramurals was not really PERFECT because of the sudden typhoon that attack Ilocos Region. But as we always say “Kung gusto may paraan, kung ayaw maraming dahilan”, they continued the Intrams. And as I always thought, it is indeed a great Intramurals.

This marks my last Intramurals at Ilocos Sur National High School and I will never forget it, I will treasure this experience of mine.

TEACHERS ARE GREAT HERO

In the month of October, we celebrate Teachers’ Day in order for us to say THANK YOU to our great heroes; in this day also we can spend much time with them.

We sometimes see teachers as bad person but the thing that we don’t appreciate is that they only become terror because this is the only way for them to teach us lessons, neither ICT nor Math; it’s a lesson for our real life. A teacher always encourages us to do better. In our daily lives, they are our SECOND PARENTS.

I salute all teachers for all their hard works, for all their efforts and for the love their giving us and for accepting us as their very own child.

My Modern Hero

Superman, Batman, Wonder woman- this words usually crosses our minds when we talk about heroes. In today’s generation, we have our own hero- modern heroes. A real hero is someone who is willing to sacrifice his whole life in order to save other people.
I consider my hero as a real hero because He sacrifices His own life in order for us to live and stay in the world and my hero is our only God. My hero is a loving hero, because if He doesn't love us He’ll never sacrifice His life. And I can also say that He is a loving hero because if we are in need He never leaves us, but instead He is showing to us how much He really loves us.
My hero is also a caring hero, because even though we are in a bad situation He never thought of living us, instead if we can't really manage the situation He carries us and give us the right way of solving the situation we are struggling.
My hero is also my great financier, because in times that I'm really out of budget, He just give the best way for me to find the amount that I need.
My modern hero is indeed a really great hero.

Reflection

When talking about Computer Education there is this words that keeps on playing on our head, “This subject is really easy”. But are we really sure that this subject is really easy? Do we know everything about computers?

This first quarter I have learned about blogging, the first time I heard this thing I thought it was that easy but it’s not the way I thought it should be. The first time that I tried to make my own blog, I have a big problem, I don’t know how to do it, but thanks to this subject of ours, because I gained again another lesson. This Computer Education is a very big help to me. I will use the knowledge that I have gained, not only for myself but also for others.

Now, because of learning this blogging, I can now share my thoughts and ideas.

State Of The Nation Address (Reaction Paper)

President Benigno Simeon Aquino III gave his fifth SONA last 29th of July 2014 at Batasang Pambansa, Quezon City.  He started his SONA by telling that we are the “Sick Man of Asia”. He also tackled about the Philippine problems like economy but in his SONA he did not mention about the DAP (Disbursement Acceleration Program).

As a student I am expecting that he would tackle about the recent issue in our country, the plans he will do so that this huge problem of our country will be resolved. When I read the President’s SONA I was really dismayed because the thing that I was expecting was not included. But I respect the President’s SONA, even though he did not tackle about the DAP he just told about the things he wants us to know.

No Calamities Can Put Us Down

“Kalamidad Paghandaan:  Gutom at Malnutrisyon Agapan”. The 40th Nutrition Month theme tackles about hunger and malnutrition.

As we all know we are not prepared for this kind of calamities, its way different from typhoon. It is not very easy to survive, but we can do one good thing so that this kind of a problem can never enter our lives, its eating good and healthy foods.

No calamities can put a man down because we are all strong, no matter what these calamities do to us, we never give up easily.

Letter to the President (Republic of the Philippines)

Raois, Vigan City
Ilocos Sur
July 08, 2014

Benigno Simeon Aquino III
President- Republic of the Philippines
MalacaƱang Palace

Mr. President:

Greetings to your office!

I am very thankful that I was given a chance to write to you, because not all people have this chance, and because I was given this opportunity I would like to open topics about social issues.

As a teenager, I have a lot of queries about what is happening in our country. Like the price increase of the commonly used things in our daily life. This price increase really has a big effect on our lives, because almost all Filipinos do not have a permanent job. We do not always have money to buy the things we need. As we all know, those things are not the only things we need to buy or pay; we also need to have daily allowance and to pay for our credits. You should also consider the life that we have. So sir, I am requesting or hoping that you will do a way to put back things in the old way.

Thank you. God bless!

Respectfully yours,

Aprille Joi L. Alaibilla
